Still raising that barn . . .

Six blocks pieced, only 3 more to go!

Someone asked where this pattern's name, 3 Barns, came from.  Carrie named this pattern to commemorate her first trip to Kansas.  There she found three restored barns used to host weddings, retreats and a wonderful quilt show.

I think, since this is the week of Valentine's Day, I"ll blog everyday about something red, are you in?

  21. Hi Thelma,
I'm absoluely compulsive about reading your blog. I've learned so much over the last few years.
I have questions regarding how you prepare your quilt flimsy and backing for their journey to your quilter? How much pressing, do you wrap everything in tissue paper, or in general what preparations do you make?
    Thanks,
    Pam
