Even More Random Sewing

Remember this, my last ditch effort of summer sewing, no pattern, no plan?

Well I've now made a green one,

and an orange one.

One of what, I still have no idea, but I'm having fun and that's all that matters!!

I've also been piecing scrappy binding and quilt backs, that's not so fun!

It's football season, hip hip hurray, my favorite time of the year!  The first game is in the books and I'm counting the hours until Sunday, are you ready for some football, I am!!

  4. I searched and could not find it, but some designer recently published a similar pattern. I believe it was just that - making HSTs the same as you might make bow-ties or another repetitious pattern. Put in sets of 4's, and with the colorwork it's very distinctive. Yours will be a charmer Thelma, keep it going. Stephani in N. TX (Tomazec@aol.com)

  7. Love this! I think I'm going to try it and set it on the diagonal so they look like flocks of birds in flight. Great way to use up scraps!
