More Morning Joe to go with your Morning Joe

All the little star blocks are pieced.  I just threw them on my design as I made them, in no particular order.

Next up, finding the perfect place for each one of these stars in this top.

Just in case you've forgotten, I'm making Alternate Joe, the pattern on the back cover of the Morning Joe Schnibbles pattern by Carrie Nelson for Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.  (click here for detail)

  1. This one is coming along nicely, Thelma! The black background really makes the colors pop (or the stars shine). :)

  11. I have been thinking about doing a quilt with black background and bright colors, kind of afraid to try it in case it didn't turn out good... I hate waste! But this one...beautiful! Gives me incentive! A black quilt is now on my "to Make" list...and I'll start saving separately my brighter color scraps! Thanks!
