I have 12 quilts that need basted for quilting and I have two basted that are ready to quilt. I was hoping I could quilt 1-2 a month and get those babies done.

I too like to piece and cut as I go. Cut a few, sew a few. I think too much cutting bores me.

As for quilt backs, the reason many of my quilts are not quilted is because I either don't have backs for them or I just have not taken the time to seam the backs.dqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08186878644626859511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1282341523536457596.post-69336879056979495202016-01-27T17:51:59.718-06:002016-01-27T17:51:59.718-06:00I buy the 108" backing so so i don't have...I buy the 108" backing so so i don't have to bother piecing them. Well, that doesn't mean that they get quilted either. Keep piecing your backings- it uses up old fabric so you can buy more. I need to start piecing as I need to reduce my evergrowing inventory.Material Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13245592639325855693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1282341523536457596.post-43852037285274698912016-01-27T17:16:43.819-06:002016-01-27T17:16:43.819-06:00Fantastic! I LOVE the house blocks, what is the name of the pattern? I have buckets and piles of scraps that would love to be a quilt someday, the houses would be perfect. Thanks for letting us have a peek. For some reason it isn't woven the same as the regular fabric. The thread count is much less.
