However, I have been fortunate to take several classes at Quilter's Dream in Colleyville, TX and each one I have attended were exactly like you describe Carrie Nelson's to be. I am one of those who are a little more "speedy" so I like being able to move on when I am ready. I think this type of class works well because no one is held up and the slower workers get a little inspiration (I hope) by seeing someone else's coming together. I would prefer a work at your own pace quilt class, where I can take it all in at my own pace and ponder. I also prefer to watch the instructor do demonstrations of their technique's and do show and tell's of their own works, to get more ideas. <br />I really like the fabrics you have chosen. The pinks and browns are very pretty. And I see what you mean about the background fabric you chose. The nicest part is that she's left-handed (though she sews right-handed) so it was easy for her to show me how to do things from my angle.
