J/K

I would love some holiday dishes. The closest thing I have so far are some red and white salad plates I bought at Pottery Barn years ago. I've had a hard time finding some dinner plates to go with them that match the shade of white. About three years ago, I fell in love with some Christmas china at Dillards and I have kicked myself in the pants ever since for not buying it. It was Town & Country by Fitz & Floyd and I just loved it. It was a gorgeous pattern of red and white swirls and leaves and vines. I keep thinking I should keep my eyes out on ebay and piece-meal it until I have a whole set. What a project that culd turn out to be.

Thanks for sharing all your holiday spirit with us. Decorations, quilts, stories and memories. It's been a joy reading your posts this season. Have a wonderful holiday and I can't wait to see what projects you'll show us in the new year.Allyson in Alaskahttp://fatcatquilts.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1282341523536457596.post-7617523401405320742009-12-24T10:15:14.740-06:002009-12-24T10:15:14.740-06:00Merry Christmas to you and your family. I know I said before that your home is so lovely and the Christmas trees and decorations just make it look so warm and inviting. Then the Christmas Village which I adore was absolutely delightful to see. I went back over most of your Christmas posts several times because I enjoyed them so much. I only have a small 20 inch fiberoptic lighted Christmas Tree and it looks so sad with no gifts under it. Oh, there will be gifts there Christmas, day but with the kids and grandkids grown, they bring them over when they come for lunch that day. We won't be seeing any of them today **sigh**, they just grew up too fast. I do have two younger grandchildren that only live 40 miles away but I have seen them only twice in the last 3 years. It's a long story that I may share with you sometime, but today isn't the day. Now, enough of that, onto a lighter note. Your Christmas dishes are wonderful and the china is so beautiful. How special to eat from a place setting that is so perfect for the day! Your "Oh Christmas Tree" project is coming along. It is amazing to me how fast you work and I am anxious to see the finished piece. Once again, thank you so much for sharing all your Christmas decorating and your lovely home with us. I really have enjoyed it.
Warm wishes for Merry Christmas.
