Welcome Christmas, Christmas Day
I've shared a few photos of my home, all decorated for the season, but have held back on one little area......
the Christmas Tree in my sewing room.
This little pink jeweled fluffy tree is the me most people don't get to see. I LOVE pink and bling, but being a conservative women in my 50's, my love for pink and bling is usually not on display. Oh, I have a few pink baseball hats and sweatshirts, but my love for pink is usually saved for my socks and under garments!
But I didn't hold back when it came to my little tree in my sewing room.
I'm not sure which ornament I like more, Hello Kitty with a purse or the pink martini glass with a cherry, or maybe the fact that both live on the same tree, and put a smile on my face, is all that matters.
I hope you have a smile on your face this holiday weekend, thanks so much for being one of the gifts in my life.
Welcome, welcome Fahoo Ramus
Welcome, welcome Dahoo Damus
Christmas Day is in our grasp
So long as we have hands to clasp....
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!!

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours! Your pink tree is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Hello Kitty! Your tree is wonderful! Have you made any pink quilts? I think one should be included on your to do list--your tree shouldn't be alone....perhaps a pink tree skirt?! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to all at Maison Thelma!

ReplyDeleteWe watched the Grinch last night...are those the real lyrics?!? I usually make up my own :)

Oh Thelma that is the cutest tree! Merry, Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love anything pink. Great tree.
ReplyDeleteOh Thelma, I love seeing this side of you! The tree is totally delightful and I can tell you that I love all the decorations but I have this thing for Dragonflies and Butterflies and those were the first things that caught my eye. Thanks so much for sharing your 'Pink' side with us...(no pun intended at all ) You know, my sewing room (now that I finally have one) is filled with the stuffed animals that my kids, grand kids and hubby have given me for special reasons and are very dear to my heart. I also have a Dorothy and Toto Barbie doll, complete with basket and Ruby Slippers that my youngest daughter gave me just 6 years ago. The Wizard of Oz is very special to me because of wonderful Christmas Childhood memory that my family knows about. Hey, our sewing rooms are our very own space and we should be surrounded by things that are special to us when we are spending time in them. Okay now, any other secret sides you want to share? *wink* Hugs...
ReplyDeleteLove it! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet pictures of your dog!! I love your Christmas decorations too!
