Fig Tree Red and Cream BOM . . . . .

I finally finished my 2018 Fig Tree Red and Cream BOM.

This is Lifetime Quilt Number 248
It finished at 68" x 68"
The pattern is by Fig Tree
It has approximately 983 pieces

I pieced the majority of the blocks in 2018 so finishing this one up took no time at all.

Fig Tree is selling the red and cream bom pattern, click here, which is unusual for their block of the month programs, so you can make your own Red and Cream sampler quilt.  I think this pattern would look great in blues too.

This is my last UFO, hurrah!  I don't like having unfinished quilt projects hanging around.

  1. A real beauty and a great addition to your Red and White collection....I loved this when it came out and did enjoy making the blocks but hard sometimes having unfinished blocks and other UFO in the works. Love this quilt and must feel great to be able to finish this up !

  2. Thelma, I love all of your quilts, but this one is especially pretty! I'm always drawn to red and white quilts...one of these days I may make one!

  3. Your last UFO?!? That's impressive! Now you get to start free and clear again and not have anything weighing on your mind. I love this centre block on this quilt. Happy sewing, Thelma!

  4. Beautiful! Congrats on not having any UFO's! That is quite the accomplishment.

  5. Congratulations! I don't like having more than one WIP at each stage (one at piecing, one at quilting and one at binding - but I do at this point. This one is beautiful. Great job!

  7. Beautiful! Fig Tree always has wonderful BOM's! I'm regretting not signing up for the 2019 black & cream....but, I'm still behind on 2 of Fig Tree's 2018 BOM's.... *sigh*

  8. Bravo--this quilt really lit up my screen when it popped up in Bloglovin. This turned out so, so well, and really had beautiful balance in the blocks. Hooray! another UFO hits the dust. Congratulations!

  10. Your piecing is beautiful. I'm doing the Fig Tree Christmas block of the month now (the one you did two of.) How do you get your blocks so flat and pressed so well? My fabric seems to scorch. I was using some spray starch, so I stopped using it as I thought that was the problem. But the cream colored fabrics are still scorching.
