More French Vintage . . . .

Hello, are you ready for a little more French Vintage....and by little I mean little, but here goes!

Four inner blocks all done.

Four inner blocks with sashing,

all done!

Here's a peek at the background fabric for the next set of blocks.

Just a hint darker, I hope it's noticeable!

For those stopping by for the first time, I'm working on French Vintage by ThimbleCreek Quilts . . . .and loving it!

  1. It really looks wonderful and I can't wait studying the pattern after I received it. I think I have to buy the fabrics in the United States because in the Netherlands it is much too expensive.

  16. WOW!!!!!!!!!! Your quilt is quite AMAZING - I am just a little bit biased since I made this quilt - it's my pattern!! You are right, it works quite magnificently with the NEW French General line of fabric. And I am delighted that you "got" the idea of trying to keep the background lightest in the center of the quilt. THANK YOU (Merci Beaucoup!)for featuring my pattern on your wonderful blog! I appreciate YOU!!!! Joe Wood, from ThimbleCreek Quilts

  18. I just read about your wonderful blog in the ThimbleCreek Gazette by Joe Wood. I really like your quilt and Your blog is very inspiring. Plus you've given it the perfect name! The sign over my quilt room is "Honey Bees and Daisies" and I co-own a bakery filled with cupcakes! So, I've found a new "resting spot" with your blog! Thank you.
