So here's my Crazy Eights inspiration block. One block of the 84 I need to finish my project from Monique Dillard's new book, Fat Quarter Winners.
I'll have more to say about my Crazy Eights block tomorrow, a few more blocks to show you, PLUS a tutorial on Monique's Fit to be Geese ruler!
Isn't it a little sad and strange, it's Tuesday but no Eventide update post. Maybe popping over to the Open Gate Quilts blog will cheer us up, it's Monique's book tour day!
Thanks for stopping by....
I sure like that block!
ReplyDeleteThe block is very pretty, and love the colors. I was thinking the same thing about not seeing Eventide any more...it's sad, but had such a good time participating!
ReplyDeleteI really like your block. I also thought 'no Eventide update' today. You created a monster.... LOL. Love seeing what you are up to anyway!!
ReplyDeleteI really need to make that Crazy Eights quilt. I have a stash of older Fig Tree fabric that might be very nice. Some soft apricots and some chocolatey browns...with creamy whites. That could be so pretty.
ReplyDeleteoooo!!! i LIKE that block!
ReplyDeleteno, i mean i REALLY LIKE that block!
I have an Eventide update. I finally finished. I'm only a week late, ha!
ReplyDeleteThe Fat Quarter Winners book is looking very tempting to me. I don't have a "next" project lined up, but there are a couple of anniversaries this summer that a quilt would be a lovely gift. I'm loving the patterns I'm seeing!
Love the block Thelma ! What fabric are you using for this quilt ? It is gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteThelma, I too missed the eventide report. I do love your new block. I think it will look good and I know you have made a lot of progress. Dortha
