For today, how about a few of my favorite red things in my sewing room!
I love these Clover binding clips, I would love them in any color, but how perfect that they only come in red!
I love that little red pear pin cushion,
and this red zippy bag.
Can't sew, or live for that matter, without my red reading glasses.
Love my Valentines Day Vinylmation.
and my red watermelon coin purse.
Who wouldn't love this
or this! A 35 pound 11 1/2 inch tall stack of yummy red fabric, my entire stash of reds.
And here's what's on my design wall, all my 3 Barns star blocks are pieced.
Still no FQS Thelma bundle in the mail, hopefully today!
For tomorrow I have a red finish that you've not seen, don't miss it!
I'm drooling over that red featherweight. Did you have it painted or find it that way?
ReplyDeleteLots of red eye candy...a gal after my own heart!
ReplyDelete35lbs of red fabric - that's quite impressive. In fact that weighs about the same as my 6 year old! I love wonder clips too, they are fab.
ReplyDeleteLove all the red... and the 3 barns top is lookin good.
ReplyDeleteTotal red yumminess. Especially love that sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I would like those clips, but had to have them because they were RED!! As it turns out, they are wonderful - never liked the silver hair clippy looking things. I personally think the red helped these clips a lot!
ReplyDeleteI am jonesing for the Barns quilts - can't wait to hear what you name it!
Love it all! Your 3 Barns looks awesome.

Your show of red was positively lovely, including your little red sewing machine. The new quilt is a valentine dazzler, Thelma. Can't wait to see what's on for tomorrow, Valentine's Day. I'm sorting all sorts of fabric in the dream-plan for some new quilts - shopping my stash after getting a start at FQ shop. Baked some chocolate chip-cherry amaretto muffins, GF free, for a sweet start to Valentines. Have a great day. Stephani in N. TX (Tomazec@aol.com)

ReplyDeleteOk. A Red featherweight? Color me jealous!!! I once saw a red FW online and swooned over it. It had been taken apart and professionally painted. It was gorgeous - something as beautiful as yours.
ReplyDeleteYour 3 Barns (or maybe 3 chateau)is turning out beautifully. I think the colorway is light and airy which gives the quilt a new feel. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do for the sashing.
Last question.. What is a Vinylmation?
My Thelma bundle is sitting patiently in the FQS shopping cart, waiting on the next paycheck! Love your red display this week. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the red featherweight and am enjoying your barn stars!!
ReplyDeleteLove the red featherweight! Did you have it custom made? I've been eyeing it in your photos at the top of your page, now I really love it seeing it close up. Thanks for the red :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your red! Your 3 Barns is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFQS needs to use the shipping method you use. I got my box of treasures TODAY!! I wasn't expecting it this soon and almost tripped over the box sitting on my step when I went out today. I was in a hurry to get somewhere and didn't have time to open it then. When I got back home I quickly opened it and WOW, it felt like Christmas! The fabrics are great and a lot of them will work very well with the dark repro prints that I already have. I tend to buy dark or light so the mediums are the ones that were lacking in my stash.
ReplyDeleteThank you, you are so generous! I will be sharing with my friend that introduced me to your blog a few years ago. :-)
Lots of red goodness today. Your Three Barns blocks are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Thelma, Another wonderful RED post!!! I have a question for you though. I remember a couple of years back you posted a picture from another website of a red Singer Featherweight and talked about how badly you wanted it. Now I don't recall that you said you got that one and the one in this post looks a little different shade of red. Of course, my memory doesn't always serve my dessert before my meal (so to speak), so I could be wrong. Anyway, did you get your red featherweight? It is beautiful whoever it belongs to!!! I have been watching for one since my sis in law past one at a garage sale, asked how much it they wanted for it and they said if you'll haul it home you can have it. So she did. It has all the attachments, book, etc. and the case though the case is falling apart. The machine however just needs a good servicing and she will be ready to rock and roll. That over two years ago, but there she sits, still waiting. I'm about ready to ask her if she will sell it to me for what she paid for it, LOL. Anyway, if you posted about getting your red featherweight, I missed it somehow. I do so hope it's yours. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteLove all your red! Of course my favourite is the heavy stack of red stash, so much of it French General.
