Tea for Two

Yesterday's post got me to thinking about the fabric I used for "Elegant Tea Garden". It's "Tea for Two" by Northcott. It was their Quest for a Cure line, I think it came out in 2005.

I looked around my sewing room and discovered 14 different prints from that family of fabrics.

One quilt made from this family of fabrics is enough for me, so I'm giving away what's left. I'll divide this fabric up into Tea Time towers, I should have at least 4 I think.

So if you would like to own some of this lovely fabric, just leave a comment that says, "GO Colts" before Monday, January 25th. Ok, I'm kidding about the Colts thing, any comment would do, but would it hurt you to throw a little love their way?

I''ll announce the winners Monday.

  1. Aaaaahhhhh, Thelma, that is some bee-yoo-ti-ful fabric! For a chance at that, I might even perjure myself so far as to cheer on the Maple Leafs, since hockey is my game - I have no favourite in the fight with the Colts, so I will cheer them on as loud as loud ever was! GO COLTS!!!! Seriously, I'm drooling over those blues!

  2. No problem for me to say "Go Colts" - I'm a big Colts fan. In fact my status on Facebook right now is "GO COLTS"!!

Love the fabric also but I'll give that up for a Colts victory on Sunday and on Super Bowl Sunday. It was my birthday the last time they plyed in the Super Bowl and the win was the best present!!

    I'm enjoying your blog!!

  4. Although I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan, I'm from Kansas City. About 10 years ago KC and Indy were in the playoffs and of course was rooting for KC but Indianapolis won. I remember it being the best game and I started paying attention to the Colts. My sister and nieces live in Tennessee and turned me on to Payton Manning. I think he has the potential to be one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game. So yeah, I'm rooting for them this weekend, now that the Ravens are gone. (That is worth some fabric, I'd say!)

  5. Go Colts! DS doesn't want us visit him when the Colts are playing. They seem to lose each time we visit so we're staying at home. LOL!

  9. Ow, oh, really? Go Colts?? How's that lol. Though I suppose since it's the Jets they're playing I can get away with a good Go Colts! Just don't ask for one in two weeks or I may end up divorced ;)
I have a lap size triple Irish chain in similar fabrics that I really should finish.

  10. What an extremely generous thing to do for your Internet quilting friends. I'm fairly new to quilting (after retirement and moving to SE IL 4 years ago)but it quickly became my passion. Just had to drop you a note and tell you how much I admire the willingness of quilters to share their knowledge, skill and yes, even their stash. For anything that beautiful, I could change from a Bears fan to the Colts! Just kidding. Had to drop you a note and thank you for keeping my love of quilting going with you inspirational website and beautiful projects!

  39. Thelma: I really enjoy your blog, and am so glad that you started it. Cupcakes and Daisies is one of my daily blog stops. So thanks for the stories, thoughts, snippets of your life, and all the inspiration. The blue-and-white fabrics are lovely! As for the Colts, I'd rather give a big cheer for Haiti Now, and hope that everyone has donated as generously as they're able. Best, D
