All the little star blocks are pieced. I just threw them on my design as I made them, in no particular order.
Next up, finding the perfect place for each one of these stars in this top.
Just in case you've forgotten, I'm making Alternate Joe, the pattern on the back cover of the Morning Joe Schnibbles pattern by Carrie Nelson for Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. (click here for detail)
This one is coming along nicely, Thelma! The black background really makes the colors pop (or the stars shine). :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Thelma. Great use of color. Love it.

I love stars and these were nice!
ReplyDeleteLike both versions and with the black background adds a different feel to it. Great colors in that fabric line and will watch for the placement as you post.....thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!! Love the two sizes together.
ReplyDeleteI love the black in your quilt! Your take on patterns is so fun to see as your quilts come together!
ReplyDeleteI really like the black background ! Really shows off the stars ! Can't wait to see how you end up laying these out for your quilt
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Really like the black background. It's fun to see how different the patterns look with different fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLovin' that black background...
ReplyDeleteLooks great. My Clover is done and on its way to my longarm quilter in half an hour! Look for it in the parade!
ReplyDeleteSigh. I love this. Love it. Love it. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about doing a quilt with black background and bright colors, kind of afraid to try it in case it didn't turn out good... I hate waste! But this one...beautiful! Gives me incentive! A black quilt is now on my "to Make" list...and I'll start saving separately my brighter color scraps! Thanks!
