Challenge - 2008, Continued ....,.....

As promised, here are 6 more projects from the guild challenge I blogged about yesterday. This was the first time I participated in a group challenge. This club has been meeting for over 20 years, I've only been a member for four.

The inner and outer border are the added fabrics for this table runner. Fourteen fabrics make up the center, the remaining 2 fabrics are used as binding.

The background on the pieced blocks and the border are the added fabrics for this wall hanging.

The solid beige squares and one stripe on the green block on the lower left are the added fabrics for this wall hanging.

The sashing and white sections in the blocks are the added fabric for this project.
The brown fabric and maroon fabric in the border was added to this quilt.

The solid black and white print fabric on this lap quilt were the added fabrics.

I find it so amazing that we all came up with such different ideas. Come back tomorrow for the final 5 projects and the group photo!!

  3. I do like that runner. That is such a wonderful block. I have always wanted to make a quilt out of that one.
